A New Milestone for McRay Roofing: The Company Becomes The Only Level 3 Brava Craftsman Contractor in Oklahoma

Oklahoma City, United States - August 25, 2026 / McRay Roofing /

Oklahoma City contractor becomes the only Level 3 Brava-certified company in Oklahoma and one of just 12 companies nationwide to hold the designation.

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla., August 21, 2026McRay Roofing & Exteriors has achieved Level 3 Brava Craftsman Contractor Certification, becoming the only company in Oklahoma and one of 12 companies nationwide to hold the designation. The achievement advances the company’s status as a Brava roofing partner in Oklahoma following completion of Brava Roof Tile’s multi-stage Technical Services Certification program, which evaluates training, installation experience, project collaboration, and field performance.

Level 3 Marks the Partnership Stage of Brava Certification

Brava’s Technical Services Certification program consists of three levels. Level 1 focuses on installation training, Level 2 introduces project integration with Brava Technical Services, and Level 3 advances contractors to the Partnership stage and Craftsman Contractor eligibility.

Reaching Level 3 requires contractors to complete Level 1 Installation Training for all available profiles of Brava Roof Tile. Contractors must also complete Level 2 Technical Services Integration for the profiles they install and maintain Level 2 certification for at least six months.

Additional prerequisites include three or more installations with registered warranties of the same profile and an annual sales goal of 1,500 roofing squares. For McRay Roofing & Exteriors, completing those requirements adds a manufacturer-based credential to the company’s specialty roofing work in Oklahoma.

Certification Includes Installation, Collaboration, and Field Assessment

The Level 3 process extends beyond classroom or online instruction. Brava requires contractors to collaborate with its Technical Services team during an installation and undergo a final inspection.

Brava then creates a photo report of the project, which is reviewed with the contractor to discuss findings and feedback. The certification pathway also includes a visit to the Brava manufacturing plant, providing contractors with additional information about how the company’s roofing systems are designed, tested, and produced.

“Level 3 requires more than completing a training course. It involves documented installation experience, direct technical collaboration, and field assessment,” said The Leaders at McRay Roofing & Exteriors. “That process allows installers to refine how Brava systems are handled on actual roofing projects and better understand the manufacturer’s requirements.”

Certification Expands Warranty Options for Oklahoma Homeowners

McRay Roofing & Exteriors’ new status also affects the warranty options available for qualifying Brava roofing projects. According to the company, its Level 3 status allows it to offer Brava warranty options not available through contractors without the same certification level.

That distinction gives Oklahoma homeowners another factor to evaluate when selecting a contractor for a Brava roofing installation. Manufacturer certifications can provide context about a contractor’s product-specific training, documented installation history, and familiarity with technical requirements.

Brava manufactures composite roofing profiles that reproduce the appearance of traditional materials, including slate, cedar shake, and Spanish barrel tile. These systems provide homeowners with several architectural options without relying on the natural materials they are designed to resemble.

McRay Roofing Joins a Small National Group of Level 3 Contractors

With the certification complete, McRay Roofing & Exteriors joins a group of only 12 Level 3 Brava Craftsman Contractors in the United States, according to information provided by the company. McRay Roofing & Exteriors is currently the only contractor in Oklahoma reported to hold Level 3 status.

The designation is particularly relevant for homeowners considering specialty roofing systems because Brava’s Level 3 program evaluates multiple stages of contractor participation rather than a single training session.

McRay Roofing & Exteriors will continue offering Brava roofing installations throughout the Oklahoma City area following the certification milestone. The company’s Level 3 status provides a documented connection between manufacturer training, installation experience, technical review, and warranty availability for future Brava projects.
